Hello,
I have a Postfix mail server and need to do a "simple configuration", I wan't one user that sends mail to our mail server to be "masqueraded" to a different address.
For example:
The user joe@somedomain.com sends email to group@mydomain.com. Mydomain.com is my postfix mail server...
Hello,
I'm having some problem with a Cisco 1801, this router is at the edge of a small network, this network has only about 16 users, and the router makes only some basic ip filtering, NAT, and terminates PPTP tunnels for when workers are at home and need to access internal ressources.This...
Hello,
Last days have been quite crazy and did not have time to check the links.
But I just read them,
what I understood is that my local computer has an MTU of 1500 and it does not know that in the middle, between him and the web server exists a router that has to encapsulate data with...
Another question about this... I did tons of debugging, should I have seen some warning about packets/sessions being dropped by the router?
And why did telnet 1.2.3.4 80 then "GET /" from the router worked? I understand now why it didn't worked from the internal network... but didn't the same...
Hummmmm where is the triple star button??? I don't even see the single star one :) I'll definitely click it several times with and without modified MTU's and MSS's as soon as I find it :)
Thanks again for all the help
no words :)
Problems are all gone!
Just need to ask something... Have you had this problem in the past or is this something just plain obvious???
When I changed de MSS everything started working great... I couldn't be more grateful :)
Thanks a lot, I solved this yesterday practically seconds...
Hello, I'm sorry but I think this is going to be a long post....I have a problem accessing some IP addresses in my network and I think it is related to my router (a Cisco 1841).
I can assure everyone I'm at the point where I think nothing makes sense anymore, I am completly desperate and going...
it's no just one script in a group policy. I'm sorry if I'm not explaining me very well.
I'll use an example, lets say i have:
1Domain: mydomain.local
7users: mark, carla, rita, jessica, jeff, bush and jenifer
3scripts:
1st_script: maps network drives that are common to all users;
2nd_script...
thanks, it seems i can have only one script. I had seen that part, it can be done, however that forces us to have on big complex script instead of several smaller scripts.
But it can be done like that.
Thank you :)
thanks :) loved the post about building scripts, I'll use some of the tips in there!
However, my question is about associating login scripts with users. I know that i can set one login script in a policy and then all the users that are in a OU that is subject to that policy will receive that...
I have a windows domain built on top of windows 2003 server.
I have a default login script for my default domain policy.
Some of my users need to execute extra scripts in adition to the one defined by the policy. How can i do this?
Right now i'm simulating this behavior by placing the extra...
the problem is that we need to synchronize firewall rules in linux servers depending who is logged in in which machine.
for example:
when userA logs in pcB the script in the PDC runs (with the arguments of userA and pcB) and remotely executes in a linux firewall some commands that adapt the...
