    Hmm... I tried entering 514xxxxxxx but it doesn't work - the phone does not auto-dial. Tried rebooting and still no go.

    Yes sorry, I should have mentioned that there are 10 16-digit entries. I'll try what you suggested; it should work. It's somewhat disappointing that Mitel doesn't seem to offer a more concise option like in my initial post ([2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx). I'll report back. Thanks Nick

    Thanks. The problem with xxxxxxxxxx is that it will match long-distance calls starting with 011 as well (e.g. overseas calls), and begin dialing before I finish entering the number. That's why I'd like to limit the first digits to 2-9 for valid North American area codes. I guess I could...
