FYI - I think it would basicall the same scenario if you moved your MSDE db. There is a basic procedure. (Documented on this forum) If you rename the server you would need to do that.
What are you "upgrading" the server OS?
You should be able to reboot the server - users should be ok once they are already logged in.
If you are talking about adding licenses - or upgrading the license - yes
Sorry - thanks
I think there might be another issue - but unsure.
We are running 4.0 and 4.5 on the same farm.
2 different zones.
Same license server. Apps are not load balanced between the versions.
I will read over the articles.

If I publish two different applications excel1 and excel2, both pointhing to the same excel.exe (same server) and they will both open through the CAG - the 1st time is the only time that it appears that your credentils are used. In other words no "connecting to server" it just opens wham.

More details - It seems that even if there is no switch in the path, the same exact program (application.exe) with 2 different published applications icons, you still get this pop-up. But not through Program neighborhood.
I need to test with another application like word. But....

I have an application that limits the users to only run one active session per PC(server). You can have multiple instances running, but only if it is on the same computer. If you try to run the application from a different PC, with your initial session still running, you would get an...

A VP at my company suddenly can't forward emails w/attachments from Outlook. We tried both Outlook XP and 2003 (maybe even 2000) and still he has that problem. When we set it to forward emails as an attachment - it works. We take that off and it stops working again. Doesn't get...
I have exchange server 2003 and Outlook 2000/xp/2003.
I have a situation here where a VP wants to monitor an employee's mailbox. I don't want the VP deleting anymail. Is there any kind of read only view on an inbox. I want to do an inbox - not a public folder.
Thanks
Chris
On my windows 2000 server I have a shared folder that has 20 - 30 reports (*.pdf) in it for users to look at. Everynight these reports get updated, but sometimes there is one or two file that will not get updated (overwritten), because someone is still logged in and looking at one of the files...

You can use one of the servers in your farm for licensing - you just need to have that component installed.
You can update them from mycitrix.com. But once you upgrade the license that's it - at least it's hard to go back. You would have to contact citrix directly. You can contact Citrix and...
