How soon does ntpd sync
This error can be caused by hostnames in ntp.conf not being resolvable. That is - your host is not configured for DNS perhaps? For each server in ntp.conf - be sure you can do a "getent hosts hostname" - Then restart - HTH, Chris- ChrisHurt
