    Thanks John! I guess I will have to price out an analog trunk card. Do you know what the type is? like 500 being analog station, 2000 digital sets.. is there a type for analog trunk?

    John, Keep in mind that I'm not actually going out a POTS line. It's going over to an analog card into another PBX to send the call out over the internet. I just want the Nortel to THINK its a POTS line.

    Inform - Exactly! I was going to have station ports generating a dialtone from switch B and have switch A's ports "listen" for a dialtone. Can I somehow configure the analog station ports on my Nortel to just get its dialtone from switch B? What would happen if both are generating a dialtone?

    I've done that myself. Fortunately I remembered which card it was on, and just did a LUVU in LD 20 and typed in 12-1-1 and narrowed it down to 2 unused TNs.
