Correct me if I am wrong, but arn't they totally different? I always thought they were! :S If you replace your routers with switches....what's going to route the packets in and out? I have probably got the wrong end of the stick mind you, but it's good to learn new things :)

If you have a firewall, check the settings. I had a similar problem a few weeks back and it was down to settings in Zone Alarm.

Hi, I would like to learn more about the phone system. I am currently doing a networking degree which includes CCNA certification, and I am interested to see how phone systems work in more detail. I live in the UK. Some website recommendations would be greatly appreciated :) TIA.

The problem was that the Bridge was not set to the trusted Zone, and both Zones (Intenet & Trusted) were set to High security. I Added the bridge to the trusted zone, and set the security on that to minimim, since theres not any need for it on a network where I control the only two machines on...
