What operating system are you using--I think they are refering to Win2k or WinXP. If you are using Win98 ICS is an Add on program in control panel add programs.

Do you have only one DC on your system--ie if there is more than one DC to log on to and only one has the script-they only get the script from that one.

When I look in license management on my Win2k server it shows one CAL in use for each user signed on whether win2k pro or win98 but it also shows one CAL in use for each win2k pro computer. Do I really have to buy a CAL for each user and for each win2k pro computer or am I doing something wrong?

I believe you set that on the modem itself using AT commands, on my Zoom modems it is ATS1=3 to get the modem to answer on the 3rd ring. Usually listed in the owners manual.
