Hard Drive Light Steady Glow
No signs of performance problems.. the bright glow bugs me and there are times that I like to know when the HD is cranking away....and thanks.. will try all of the above. If I can't solve it.. I will just leave it unplugged. Have a good day!- Chemdog

Hard Drive Light Steady Glow
I finally got my Western Digital HD to run at UDMA 100 and it is fast as all heck :) But now the light on the PC which normally shows that the HD is working steadily glows even if the hard drive is idle. I have no errors across the board when I look at the device properties. PC: PIII 866...- Chemdog
