    i have table for example of 2 fields. 1st field contains "1;2;3;4;5;6" and 2nd field contains "Example". The question is can the 1st field be separated in a list box or combo box to display the rows as "1 Example" "2 Example" 3 Example", etc etc ??? thanks, paul.

For some reason when I come in in the morning accessing the data from sql server is painfully slow, yet after an hour or two the speed picks up.     I am opening a database and opening forms using DoCmd.OpenForm and to close DoCmd.Close and yes there is quite a lot of coding when opening the forms, clicking buttons on the form, etc.... Sorry for being thick, but if this is the problem how do I get round it.......

    ODBC Call Failed run--time error 3146

    i'm running several windows 98 workstations with Access 97 (Office 97) installed with the data stored on the server in SQL Server 7. keep getting the above error and it seems to happen when the users are all accessing the data at the same time.... Anybody got any idea how to fix this problem???
