    Unable to open Event Viewer logs

    The device, \Device\CdRom0, has a bad block.

    It's the ASUS A7V8X. They are IDE CD-ROM drives, however; it is an IDE RAID board and the single hd is on the RAID controller recognized as a SCSI device. At any rate, I followed your earlier suggestion and did a reinstall of XP. Mike Jones, A+ MCSE Systems Engineer/Owner CCNI www.ccni.com

    Partitioning Windows Server 2000
