Number Truncation/Rounding

Is there a simple way (not formula based) to round and then truncate a number for display? Example: The actual data returned is 18,589,645.89. What I would like to display is 18.6 and then include some reference at the top to indicate that all values are in millions. I know I could do this...

A Move to Crystal Reports - Justification Doc

I don't think you will find anything that will justify it for your company. All companies are different and therefore have different requirements. What you can do is lay out the current environment and project the impact that a Crystal implementation would have. Focus on the need for two...

Schedule to Destination via different formats.

Works fine for me whether I use the default name or specify my own using the format above. What happens if you hardcode the correct file extension into the scheduled report's name? Just thought this may show whether there is a problem with the CE server or the client machine.

    Publishing report in 8.5

Is the ODBC connection set up on the CE server? Do you use ODBC connections to connect to the SQL Server tables in the other reports? Is the Access database local to the server or on another network machine?

Schedule to Destination via different formats.

What are you putting in for the file name? You need to specify ".%EXT%" in addition to the filename in order for the file to show up as the association.

How to display colums with no values in Crosstab

Look up manual crosstab in the Crystal knowledgebase. This takes a little more work up front, but gives you the output control you need.

    manual cross tab report

    1. Enter the date range values in the record selection formula ex. orderdate in {?StartDate} to {?EndDate} 2. The only way I know to calculate YTD is to manually sum the individual formula that you have created for each month into a total value.
