I was able to solve the problem. The bios on the computer had some crazy usb legacy support. I turned it off (ironically) and the cd I built worked.

I get an error when trying to add an OLE Word Document in Crystal Report Designer (Developer Edition). Environment is Windows 2000 with Office 2000.

Anyone know of a tool or UFL available that will print an external attachment when a report is printed? eg. a word document or an excel spreadsheet? Embedding the external document in the report is not an option as it is record dependent.

I could create a custom or temp table with a numeric field with a values 1 to 100 but rather use something thats completely internal to the report. I envision this could be accomplished with Crystal...

Does Crystal 9 still have Crystal Query Designer. I've looked at an existing install of Crystal 9 Designer (advanced) and there was no query designer. I ran the add/remove programs app from windows control panel and did not see any option to add the crystal query designer. What gives?
I've just looked at Crystal version 9 and they still don't seem to support dynamic pick lists (i.e. one where if the drop down field source changes so do the drop down list items on the parameter).
