    Excel - sheet gets slow after a while

    What else is running on the machine when this happens? With the ram you specify, Excel shouldn't be hanging. Try sleuthing out other apps that are running and using resources. Shut them down or disable them. Are you free of spyware?

    Did you by any chance upgrade to Windows Media PLayer 9? If so, try this: 1) Select Start > Run on your system 2) Type "regsvr32.exe msdxm.ocx" and hit Enter 3) You should see a message saying that "DLLRegisterServer in msdxm.ocx succeeded".
