Yes, scratch set may be the solution ... but I handled it another way. Did a job every 6 weeks for `overwriting` - it seems to be successful ... Thanks anyway!- caro5

We use ARCServe6.5 and there is a DLT-Changer and a media pool of 9 tapes. No rotation (GFS). Every night (before backup) the system reboots and the tapes are new mounted. I make differential backup monday till thursday/custom schedule. The options for the first backup media are `append to...- caro5
