digilizing tablet menus
For years I have been using a Hitachi tablet with a 16-button puck. I usually don't edit the TABLET section of the menu. I prefer to use the SCREEN menu. I have found that editing for any customization is done in the acad.mns file. You should be able to find the sections in the acad.mns file...- cadpe

What should LTscale be in paperspace (standards)
The archtectural and structural plans at 1/4"=1'-0" that I prepare for clients, I perfer to use a DIMSCALE and a LTSCALE of 48. There are some exceptions. At times I will use the CELTSCALE to create a scale other than 48, but as soon as I'm finished using the CELTSCALE, I change it back to 48...- cadpe

plotting error
To plot in monochrome (black) on a color printer (plotter) use the following in AutoCAD 2004/5: In Model Space => File > Page Setup Manager... > Modify... > Plot style table (pen assignments) > monochrome.ctb. In Paper Space => Right click on a Layout Tab > Page Setup Manager... > Modify... >...- cadpe
