Windows 2000 professional diskcleanup is very slow in NTFS
If you're comfortable with editing the registry use REGEDIT to go to... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\VolumeCaches\Compress old files ...then delete all the entries at that point. Disk cleanup will speed along again since it has nothing to reference for...- busybill
