Questions Regarding Upgrading from 4.0 to 4.5

Why can't anybody give me a straight answer to this simple question? I am currecntly running PS 4.0 Standard Edition. The MyCitrix web site is very confusing and does not give you any answers. I opened a case with Citrix, they gave me a case number, sent me an e-mail, in which they said they...

Questions Regarding Upgrading from 4.0 to 4.5

I may sound stupid but here goes. I want to upgrade from PS 4.0 to 4.5. Citrix tells me that since/if I have SA that I can up for free. I know we had SA before, but am not sure if management has kept it up-to-date. How can I tell if SA is up-to-date? What are the new steps in either upgrading...

    Transactions logs not being removed

Job is being run by the SQL Server Agent, so it is not a permissions issue. In fact the BAK and the TRN files are in the same directory and as I said before the BAK files are being removed correctly. I have never run the SQL Profiler before and will try that once I figure it out. Problem is...

    Transactions logs not being removed

No, there is nothing in the logs. And no, the names have not been changed. They are the standard names. They are being created and by the maintenance plan. SQL 2000 SP 4 under Windows 2000 SP 4.

The BAK files are being removed, BUT the TRN files are not, they just keep accumulating. I have removed the maintenace plan and recreated it...

We recently updated a client XP machine to version 9.0 of the Win32 client. Now when the user tries to login, you can see the old client icon at the bottom of the screen and the user login fails. We have tried a number of times to uninstall the client and reinstall and recreate the application...

    User Network Drives

Each of our users has a network folder in our Users directory to store data so we can back them up each night. As opposed to backing up each individual desktop. Is there a way in a Citrix session to have each user have access automatically to their folder? i.e mounting their...

    Network Monitor

Can anyone recommend a good network monitoring program that will tell which system is utilizing the most network resources. We would like it to be real time, so we can tell which systems are using the most of our Internet connection. Thanks in advance for any assistance provided.

    Data Store Location

I see the Access files on the one system, but don't see those same files on the second that uses SQL. They must be called something else.

    Data Store Location

I am trying to insure that the data store is backed up, but am not sure where they are located. We have both an SQL server and a regular Access one. What are the file names and where is the data stored.
