I have 8 copies installed for my software department in the NT4 environment and its been working well. I hear from the reseller that the W2K version is working well too.
Well.. the Local Admin account is the only one that matter now, since your in a workgroup. If you didn't create any local accounts with local admin rights, your only hope is to recall what the local admin p/w is. Good luck bro!
Just solved the same problem by editing the following registry setting (its in the "run" key)
HKey_Local_Machine\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
Delete the approprate line. This solved the error problem, but I still couldnt uninstall or reinstall the app... so ...I ran...
