I guess it wouldn't be a problem but we have over 3,000 reports so it's kind of a hassle. The reports are broken down into folders but it is still hard sometimes to have to hunt and if you accidentally click wrong then you have made a huge error.
I have upgraded to Windows 7 and every since I am having an issue with saving my crystal report back to Crystal Enterprise. I can open the report in design and make the changes but when I go to save it back to crystal enterprise the file name at the bottom is not there so I have to find the...
I have found this and did research on it, but it only pertains to the report running under the jobserver. If the jobserver is stopped then it will retry in intervals. It does not apply to reports being emailed out. But thanks anyway.
At times that we know the mail server is going down or is down then we just stop the jobserver for all reports. This works really well. Not sure I know enough to create the separate program. as you described, but I will talk to my Tech Administrator about it. Thanks.

I am using Business Objects and we are set up using SMTP to email many of our reports out. But when our Mail Server is down then the emails fail. Is there some way that I can put a delay on the reports so that they wait on the Mail Server to come back up?
All advise is deeply appreciated.
We have several thousand reports set up and running to several destinations. But when our company email server has a failure, our reports fail also. Is there a way I can put my reports on a delay so that when the mail server is back in operations my reports will then run? And help is deeply...

I am currently trying to create a report in CR9 that will let us know what reports we have on CMC and their name. We are using CE 9 with CR 9. I was told that you could do this by using CI_OBJECTS, but I can't find this on our database. Our database is on a MS SQL Server 7.
Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
My company is in the process of upgrading from CE9 to CE10 and CR9 to CR10 and I would really like to know of the changes we will be having like:
1) Will the CR9 reports automatically convert to CR10?
2) Will the CR10 reports keep their schedules that they
have now or will we have...
In our case, we use Sql Server and that is where CE 9 resides. When you set up a destination to email an instance to the user, you are emailing from CE 9 so you have got to have an email account on that server, because that's the email serves you use.
