Thanks for your help! I eventually fixed the problem by resetting the bios settings to the default. Guess what, success. Some of the changes made must have caused a conflict. Thanks again for your help. Till next time!!!:-d- bsas2

I am running a PIII 667, 256meg ram, etc. I run XP Pro, & recently purchased a MS Intellimouse Explorer. If it is connected to USB port, bootup halts after checking drives. If I remove the mouse & reboot, all is ok. I can reconnect mouse & everything is great until next boot. I would...- bsas2
