    A basic brush stroke is an outline effect on a line and if viewed in wirframe you can see the line but not the brush stroke. Select the brushstroke/artistic media group - right click and select break artistic media apart - you should now be able to weld. Alan D

    Try exporting as cmx, import that and then resave. CMX strips out styles which can get corrupted with frequent use.     If you are talking about making panaramas then although PhotoPaint has a 'stitching' feature I personally don't find it easy to use but go to www.Serif.com and look up Panarama plus, very easy to use and if there is enough overlap makes a good job. Alan D

    For one of the better DXF converters go to Aidsoftware.co.uk or look up Bezarc it can produce correct dxf from ai or cmx files and Draw V8 will export to ai at least. Alan D
