that´right That is my problem... It gives me alwyas the Error "Access Denied"!!

Ok The "path to executable" is correct The user "network service" do not exist in a domain controller only in a stand alone server So whow do i ensure that the "network Service" has right to log on as a service in the default domain controller???

The DHCP is Authorised in the Active Directory.. And the DHCP Server is Runnig with no problems... Only when i trie to star the DCHP Client, it gives me the Error "Access Denied". BrunoV

I´have a windows 2003 Entherprise with Active Directory... Before im promote the server to Domain controller, the DHCP Client worked fine, with the user NT Autorithy\networkservice Now when i star the service it apers "Error 5 Access Denied" Because of the user NT Autorithy\networkservice...

I have authorized the DHCP Server, but i have not created any options in the dhcp yet!

Aswering to your reply. I have all my servers pointing to my internal dns servers, i have a mixed environment 2000 / 2003 My dns servers have forwarders and are resolving names and ip´s. Thanks for your help I have disables DHCP client but i cant make an ipconfig /registerdns
