    Nortel M2250 wiring

We have a Nortel Meridian Option 11C that has been working well for over 20 years. Recently our M2250 stopped working and I discovered wires had broken off inside the DB25 connector going to the console. We ordered a refurbished console, in case the old one had died. But now neither the old...

audio problem with MerMail calling an extension

PROBLEM SOLVED!!! Had to set the BSGC attribute to 65535 instead of 0 in NET_DATA in the CDB and everything now works fine. I discovered this by searching through old threads that had weird audio problems and found one for which this fixed the problem. Low and behold it fixed ours as well.

audio problem with MerMail calling an extension

I am thinking about doing a call trace for a call originating from an inside extension dialing 4111 (which works) and an outside call coming in on the DID (which does not work) and comparing the pathways on a call to the same inside extension. Could someone explain how I could set this up and...

audio problem with MerMail calling an extension

Thanks for your reply. The route for the PRI line was already set for DSEL = VCE. Would love any other ideas to try. One thing we noticed in the DCH monitoring is that when the audio fails one of the messages is: "Terminating End Not ISDN. Connect #7000" 7000 is associated with the ACDN and...

audio problem with MerMail calling an extension

We have an Meridian Option 11C, with software release 25.40. A few days ago we upgraded from a 24-channel T1 line to a 23-line PRI line with D-channel, using an NTRB21 board. The install was successful: all the old DIDs were ported over successfully and calls go out and in fine. Unfortunately...

    Can't delete DTI line

Thanks, but unfortunately I still get the same BUG5397 error code about database corruption with that command in LD48.

    Can't delete DTI line

We still have a problem. I thought everything was all set and so I installed the TMDI 1.5 DTI/PRI card in Slot 1. But the system will not allow me to enable either the DCH channel or the TMDI loop on it in LD 96. Instead we get the same error message about possible corruption in the database...

    Can't delete DTI line

Unfortunately doing DIS TMDI 1 ALL gives the same BUG message about a corrupted database. Any thoughts about a programming fix for fixing the database?

    Can't delete DTI line

In LD 96 when I try to DIS TMDI 1 or STAT TMDI 1 I get the same error code: BUG5397: "The code for executing the MSDL commands in overlays 37, 42, 48, and 96 received a faliure return code from SET_MSDLMISP_PTR. Action: Check for MSDL database corruption." Do you have any idea how to check...

    Can't delete DTI line

We have a Meridian Option 11C system with Software release v.25.40, which has worked fine since it was installed in 2004. We have a TMDI 1.5 DTI/PRI card in Slot 3, for a 24-channel T1 line. We are going to replace the T1 line with a PRI line soon and I thought I would start the programming...

    level 2 password

I have never used my level 2 password but I need to now to establish an authorization code. What I have written down does not work as it contains 11 digits. I've tried parts of the 11 but no luck. Is there a way to discover the level 2 password or to establish a new one.
