Modify built in report "Count all inventoried products and versions"

Hi, I'm trying to modify the built in report "Count all inventoried products and versions" to add "Company Name" to the output. I initially thought this would be simple as the company name is in the same view. However, when I add this to the SQL query I get the error "Column 'PROD.CompanyName'...

    Exchange error in active directory

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/271335 seems to describe two fixes, looks like you've tried number 2, but maybe number 1 will help?

    Exchange error in active directory

Just a first thought, have you tried setting all the exchange services to disabled, restarting the server then adding?

"RPC Error occurred" with Message Quota Service

Solved my own problem. The QuotaMessages folder was in the correct location, but this contained the messages. There needs to be a subfolder (for UK English called 1033) that should contain the messages. Structure should be QuotaMessageService - Inbox - DeletedItems - QuotaMessages -- 1033...

    recovering deleted email

By default, the retention period for deleted emails is 30 days, so if that's not available then whoever created the storage group must have changed it. Take a look at the properties of the storage group this mailbox is stored on. You could look for OSTs on the machine, but these would be in...

    recovering deleted email

What sort of backus are being taken? If you're lucky the someone might have configured bricks backups for some or all users (usually for some, high profile users)

"RPC Error occurred" with Message Quota Service

I installed the quota message service to allow custom quota messages on our Exchange 2003 installation. When I try to manually start a quota run within system manager, I get the error "RPC Error occurred" I've double checked the location of the messages in the quotamessageservice mailbox and...

Deleted Mailboxes still listed in global address book

The change must be picked up by the Exchange computer that generates the offline address book files. This can take several hours. At worst, it can take 24 hours. This variable will be referred to as "x." • The Outlook clients must download the offline address book updates every 24 hours. This...

Deleted Mailboxes still listed in global address book

Outlook downloads the address list periodically. Make sure your domain is in sync then download the address book in outlook (tools, send and recieve, download address book) then check again.

Collections in secondary site not updating

That makes sense. Sorry, I should have thanked you for the other post. Cheers for the help!

Collections in secondary site not updating

That's not exactly what the problem is, another example: If I look in 'all 2000 server systems' on the central site all the servers show up as clients. However, if I check the same collection in the child site then only one shows up as a client.

Collections in secondary site not updating

I have a central site and a primary child site. All was working, but now for apparently no reason the collections don't contain machines added to the collection at the central site level. Can anyone suggest why the collection membership isn't being sent to the child site? Thanks.

Bizarre IPX address shown in QFARM

I have a server that is having problems, needs to be restarted daily, slows down and won't come back up unless the network cables are unplugged. Anyhoo, I don't understand the results from QFARM (as shown below) SERVER_1 seems to have two IPX addresses? Has anyone come accross something similar...

Server abends when replacing dead SCSI disk

Replaced the server with a spare to allow the hardware engineers some more time to look at the box. Turns out that there's a fault with the plug in board on the array controller. Once this was replaced the array rebilt.

Server abends when replacing dead SCSI disk

No, we use Tivoli Storage Manager for backups over IP, there are no other SCSI devices connected to the controller.
