Yes it is possible if he tells windows2000 to use the new hard disk when installing. Once in windows2000 you will be able to read the files on the 98 FAT32 disk. But it will not work the other way around. If you are on windows98 you will not be able to read the 2000 NTFS disk.
Hope this helps...

Hey i know that to make a module a DSO module you have to run it through the apxs app, but where do i find the module to process like an ASP module for example or XML or something like that?
Not sure about the first question about cgi-bin but for the second one about the ports, you could use a port redirect service. Many of the services such as no-ip or dydns offer such things.
Hope this Helps

I am using the debian version of proftpd, i suppose i will have to downlaod and compile proftpd. Will the passwords in the database use MD5 encryption?
For first one I want the user to be able to do pretty much everythiong he can normaly do except i dont want him to be able to leave his home directory. As for the /dev/null I have edited the /etc/passwd file and set it to /dev/null but the user cant login to the FTP
I have 2 questions, How can i restrict a user to their home directory. I know about rbash but i dont particulary like it. Any other ways?
2. How can i disable a user from logging in over SSH but not over FTP
Thanks,
Brett
