    All, This has been resolved and it was indeed hardware/lose connections/null modem required/DB-9 to DB-25 connector issue. An unfortunate combination of those. Thanks to all for the "encouragement" to keep hammering away on the connection itself. Brad

    I have double-checked hardware connectivity by using port 2 as my terminal interface to the switch (mtc?) so I feel good that the hardware is functioning as needed. I have also gone with a null modem for grins and no effect. So, it sounds like I have done what is needed.(?) Any last thoughts...

    Mine is the same except for I have CDPR set to no per Veramark. This seems to be so basic that I am concerned about software corruption, etc. Does LD 37 give me anything to troubleshoot? If so, what commands would be pertinent..stat? Thanks, Brad
