Has anyone made a video with old time film effects lately? I got most of it figured out by using the QuickTime Film Noise special effect and probably speeding up the video by 10%. I was hoping to make titles for the text inserts, but cannot make put the Film noise effect on titles. If anyone...
I believe this has been addressed before, but I don't recall anyone ever coming up with an explanation and/or a fix. While digitizing or just viewing footage through Premiere 6.5 on my desktop monitor, I occasionally get a brief pixelation with a hiss. It's just enough to make anything I...
I found the bit rates are perfect in the VCD (default) settings when I customer just wants something on VHS converted to MPEGs...just for viewing on their computer.
Yes, our people who are in charge of ordering software for our computers and editors decided to order the entire Adobe Video Collection that comes with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encore DVD and Audition, without consulting me first. We cannot use XP on our computers at all, so I'm hosed...
I use Premiere 6.5 for still presentations all the time. I find it's much more user friendly than powerpoint just because it's easier to import, select all the photos at once and just drag to the time line. I usually put cross dissolves between each pic for the professional look. Drag some...
You can still use the method of the "double arrow" that EdwardMartinIII was speaking of. You can move it forward and backward. You can also select it anywhere in your timeline if you need to add stuff in the middle without messing up the rest of your project in the timeline. Comes...
Here's the way I capture stills. In the timeline, go to the clip that you want the still from. Once you see the image on the program screen (Single Track), go to File, Export Timeline, Frame. From there you can choose where to save it. For the best quality, I suggest saving it as a TIFF...
Hey gang! Need some help. My computer hard drive was recently wiped clean by our computer guys. Before this happened, I had no trouble at all with Premiere 6.5. I just reloaded Premiere, and now when I try to capture the video and audio is sped up. I've tried all the settings, but it...
Another option that I've found works well for my customers is the MS Windows Encoder. The downside is that once you've encoded the AVI (option Microsoft DV avi in settings and File type) it becomes .wmv instead of .mpg file extension...so, basically you can only view it in Windows Media player...
You may want to also consider getting some more ram. Video eats up an insane amount of ram. I have 1GB, and at times I wish I had more. Hope this gives you some help.
Yep...seems like the technology is being focused on DVD and VCD creations, instead of simple MP3 conversions, like in 6.0. Oh well, that's what I've done, I've used the Adobe MPEG encoder to save a single audio track as a .wav. Normall, when you save a video and audio track as a DVD, it...
Has anyone been able to figure out how to save audio projects as MP3s? In the help area, it says you can use "Save to web" options to do this, but that was through CLEANER in 6.0. I can't seem to figure it out in 6.5. Any help?
I'm trying to use the QuickTime video effect (specifically the fire effect) for one of my clips in the timeline. It seems when I apply certain QuickTime effects, it overrides the clip and all I get is the fire on the output. I'm sure there are certain settings for this effect. If anyone can...
