I cant give you any specific answers but we ran into that on 4.11. The Novell admin had to get with veritas to work it out. It was not an easy fix. several "patches". I think they are NLM's. I am a MS guy so I dont really pay much attention to Novell.

What you can do is install nt 4 server on a new box as a bdc- then promote it to a pdc, do the upgrade and install AD and then you have all your users none of the old programs that might cause issues. and if you can hire a consultant to come in to support you. nothing like having someone there...

You might want to ask the Novell forum. They are the ones that should know.

I ran into this on a desktop and had to call dell on it. i think (it has been a while) i had to disable the time in the bios and apply a patch. check the tech support of the manufacture of the server.

I am not sure how to capture it but the file you need is called msgina.dll or if you have Netware nwgina.dll. If you have vb or something that can open a .dll file then you can get a shot from there.

I found it. It is cachemov.exe on the resource kit. I knew all that studying would come in handy one day!

I believe it is a command called cachemove. i cant find anything about it but I seem to remember it in the 2k pro study guide.

Is the CD scratched. I have gotten that error because of damaged media.

Try the bplabel command. I us it to overwrite catalog media.

to pas on the 70-210 you have to get 65 out of 100. 70-215 it is a bit tougher with a 85 out of 100. 70-210 was very easy.
