I suspect hardware also. Canon tech support wants $10 to take my call. I can open the printer case myself if I just knew what I was looking for--to repair or clean. BoB- bobrandle

Printer not working
My printer is a Conon BJC 5000. It beeps seven times when I press the reset button. The light flashes green once and flashes amber seven times. The print heads are locked to the right position and will not come to the middle when I open the front lid. I have checked drivers, cable and A/C...- bobrandle
