I fully understand how to use cron. For cms, the backup is only done through the cmsadm menus, it's not an actual command I'm executing. If I knew the command, I'd have simply thrown together a shell script and added it to the cron. What I'm asking for is does anyone know the actual commands...

Well, I want to let them know how long they can expect to wait every 3 minutes, I'll tell them their expected wait time, so they know their progress in queue. The IVR simply has to hang up the call, I do a disconnect and then quit in scriptbuilder (conversant) and the call goes back to music...
