A few more questions:
Our "Project" entities are user-owned and the owner is project manager. We have several other people that will be involved in the project as we progress but CRM doesn't provide a way to link them to the project.
I'd rather not use teams because they don't allow much...
I started with a clean install on SBS 2003. We changed the "Opportunity" entity to "Project" and added a few custom entities.
1. We created our own Product list because the integrated catalog and price list setup was far too limited. We no longer use the system entities quotes, orders or...
I've been playing around with a few options and I've decided to create a new web site in IIS running on port 5556. We're going to create a new SQL table in the CRM database to store image filenames and their associated entitie's unique ID. An ASP page will display all images for that product...
We're looking at using the Outlook mobile client, but after thinking it over, the VPN looks like the proper way to allow access to the web client version. A lot of data can change quickly in our install as pricing is constantly updated and I'd like to keep them as up to date as possible.
We have CRM setup on an SBS 2003 server. I have employees at a branch office connected via a net-to-net VPN and I have two users that work on the road often.
Is there a way (short of creating a mobile VPN) to make CRM accessible to these two users while outside of the LAN?
Any suggestion on how to get started doing this? At this point I have all the entities and relationships working, my issues are now storing images and displaying them in a tab on the record form.
First, thanks for the reply. Our company assists small/medium businesses in product development and manufacturing as well as import and customs services. Many of our clients are small companies that would like a priavate labeled product.
We usually break down a project into sub-projects by the...
I've been asked to configure and customize CRM 3.0 to handle a few specific things:
1. Maintain a list of vendors
2. Maintain a list of general products (i.e. Brass Door Handle)
3. Maintain a list of the specific "version" of the general product that each vendor makes, and link these to the...
I'm actually working with an XTSc and the manual is very vague when it comes to setting up the RAN tables.
I have my UCD group. I want RAN 1 to play either immediately or soon after a caller goes into the queue. I want RAN 2 to play 30 seconds after. I want to overflow to a VMID 3 seconds...
I restarted an XTSc KSU and now I'm getting VM ALARM 1 2 on the station 100 LCD. I'm using the 8 port InSkin Vmail and I've used 656 to clear the message, but it seems to reappear whenever the VM card is reset (Either from the reset button on the VM1B card or from a full KSU reset).
It seems to...
ravnz5,
I did a soft reset using Flash 80, then a power down and power up with all switches in On position except for switch 8. The XTSc comes with the VM1B in slot 7 by default, so I don't think it was even necessary to restart it.
I am able to configure the InSkin over the DB-9, but I don't...
I'm working with an XTSc system and I can't seem to get the voicemail working. I'm basically starting from a clean init, and I have the VM1B card select for slot 7.
If I try to dial 440 to access the VM system, it will just continue beeping. If I add stations 100 and 101 to Group 1 (440), the...
