if you are using sql, did your dba or network guy change access rights to the ce8 (APS) database. go into Crystal configuration manager - aps - then make sure that the correct account and passwords are being used.
you might also want to look at event view - application for any errors...
What viewer are you using. If you are using DHTML then your reports will not print as seen. Try using ActiveX viewer. Also read there is a white paper on printers and reports.

I've seen this type of error on NT when I was not logged in as a local Administrator. Once I logged in as a local Administrator I was able to install without any errors.
Does the report ever finish? I get this when there are several reports running at the same time or when I am using views or stored procedures. This just means that there is no activity on the local machine but there can be activity at server side. Other processes may being taking more time...
First, MAS90 only allows 1 left outer join. Crystal reports with MAS90 only allows equal, not equal, and left outer. Again, only one left outer can be used. Can you tell me which tables you were using with the left outer? I was a crystal developer with MAS90 and maybe able to help you.
