I also had this problem. I was able to solve it by changing the permissions on the file _vti_pvt located in usr/local/apache/htdocs/_vti_pvt. I changed this file to permissions of 666 ( rw_rw_rw ) and it seems to have solved the problem. good luck bonnie

I have a word97 document that is 135 pgs long, in word the page breaks are in the correct location. However after converting them to a pdf document using distiller the page breaks are in the wrong place. Does anyone know why the page breaks are moving ? How do I prevent this from happening ...

I have had this problem as well. In my case I uploaded a .pdf file in ascii format which corrupted the file on my webserver. So I reloaded the file this time in binary format and all was fine.
