I am getting a message in the error log that says the /tmp is corrupted and that I need to execute fsck to fixed. This is a production server and I can not rebbot the server at this moment. Can I unmount /tmp and execute fsck -y and mount /tmp without affect the normal operation?

Thanks for you response. I was trying to update this fileset from version 5.2.0.10 to 5.2.0.30. If I remove the fileset using installp -u I remove the version 5.2.0.10. Ca I just remove the 5.2.0.30 version?

We found a way to fix the problem. I think this is not the right way, but worked for us. We created a dummy lpar a assigned the adapter to this lpar, then we activate the dummy lpar and the adapter was removed. Later we removed the dummy lpar.

Thanks everyone for your help. axelsche and jie your were right. The problem was the HCM is not in our DNS, so partitions cannot resolve the HMC name. Following the jie advice we added the HMC on each /etc/hosts file for every partition. Now is working fine. Thanks.
