I did that....
I created an address bill@domain.com with the name Bill Smith.
We have a bill in the company.
I typed Bill into the TO: field and hit enter... and the bill from the address book was populated... the server did not seem to get searched.

The Email address look up on Domino R5 does not seem to work.
An employee used the name Russ umong other names and instead of looking up in his private address book AND the company public address book, the Notes client ONLY looked up the the name in the Private address book, which I believe...

rd /s c:\xxxx\ftproot
use rd /s on the ftp root directory. If that does not work go up one directory. This will delete the folder and all subfolders and files. It has to be used on a folder with a valid name, but will remove any invalid ones below it.

Problem resolved.
I set up a Win2K machine and ran the R6 Domino Server setup.
Made it link up with the R5 machine already in place.
Migrated 4 people for testing "real world"

Open Domino Administrator.
Click on Configuration Tab.
Click on server (left side) and then on
"All Server Documents"
Edit the server (the one you are trying to move the file to)
Click on the Security Tab
Add the admin (your) name to the "Create replica...

Same thing here, accept I did not upgrade my R5, I was hoping to install the R6 to a new server and migrate the databases as in ccMail -> R5... is this possible?
