if i do sth like document.onmouseout, or document.body.onmouseout, then i catch all onmouseouts on every single element of this page. Tom- blaat7

yes. Of course from within the frame (i need to catch this inside the code of the frame), i'm not interested in catching this in the page containing frames. And this has to work under IE, Opera and Firefox. so far no idea. Best regards Tom- blaat7
