    Aux copy with bad tape

    looks like you are going to have to skip all jobs for that tape to stop having problems.....try selecting 'view media not copied'....can you right click and select something like 'don't copy??.....if not then look for the jobs that are held on that tape & select 'prevent copy' for those jobs...

    No not directly through the console but, they could use Media Explorer to restore (also chances of them also having the tapes with the index on would be pretty slim I would have thought) Best to set a media password or use encryption if you need to fully secure the data on tape Birky...
