thanks but that didn't work it wouldn't be an http:// it would be like this File://g:/exempt/duties/dailyexp/01.dec.2000.xls and in lotus i hant found a way to make this a link without having to use the menu items. which would not be an option as this will be put in to the body of the email...- billthomason

How can i put a link to a file that is on the network? I don't want to have to go to the menu and copy as link. that is not an option. this link would be put in to the body of the email Programmatically everyday.- billthomason
