Sorry that was bad information. I cannot ping from another subnet, it only worked when I was on the wireless which is on the same vlan as the IPOffice.
I'm going to look at the IP route setup on the IPoffice.
While our phone vendor was here, he called avaya support and I heard the technician say that phone manager lite doesn't work across vlans. Maybe he was trying to say it's not supported ?
In any case, I felt like there might be more to this. Taking the vpn out of the picture, I can ping our...

I was hoping users could connect to our VPN and run phone manager lite to do this. However apparently the phone manager lite product does not work across vlans.

Thanks for the help on this. I followed the advice of intrigrant and removed the call timer. That leaves enough room on the display for the group name to appear. So now calls that pass out to the cover group list the phone number and then the group name ..... so for us it's showing up like...

We are a new install of IP Office. When a call goes to our operator, if she doesn't pick up after a couple rings, the call rings out to a backup cover group. When it rings on our phones (model 1408) we have no way to know that it is the cover group or a direct call. It doesn't show anything...
We have an extension that I'd like to forward to another internal extension. Is there a way for me to do that if I am out of the office ? I do have administrator access to the Merlin Legend system.

We have a sonicwall router and an ecessa load balancer that connects to ISP1 and ISP2. An outside user connects to our sonicwall vpn using the client software specifying ISP1 as the endpoint.
