Go to Grisoft .com and download and run AVG.Follow the prompts and you will soon find ut if it is a virus and should get rid of it. If AVG cannot delete the virus, type the name of the virus into a search engine and see where you go.Dave

Apart from the obvious question "Have you loaded the correct drivers" have you been to Control Panel and properly configured the modem. One thing immediately springs to mind, Have you selected the correct Country in the setup, Also, if it won't work on Com port1 try Com port 2. Good luck......Dave
Go to the BIOS and set the detection of drives to AUTO. This should enable the CD Rom. I am presuming the connections never got disturbed otherwise it wouldn't work at all.
Delete Incredimail and use Outlook express. I had it loaded once and all sorts of silly things started to happen so I ditched it and everything was fine...Dave
Why not reload mmsystem.dll either from a dll site on the net or from your Win 95 disc. It is loaded in your C:/Windows/System file. mmsystem may be corrupted........Dave
I agree. It certainly sounds as if yoiu have a virus replicating itself. Run your virus checker and kill it. Failing that you may need to reformat and reload. You will not have enough room to downloaD a virus checker and run it. If you do not have a virous checker, there is a decent one at...
Yeah, What he said, but go to Start/Run and type msconfig and click the Startup Tab. Uncheck any entries that you don't want to open on Startup because one of these is trying to connect to the net.Cheers..dave
