So on Server A (server with no ptr record) I configure the smart host option to point to server B's (server offsite)Public Internet address. Then on Server B I allow Server A to Relay mail through it. Is this the correct scenario?

Thanks Mike - I have not purposely done either of those and I'm still stumped by it. If I reboot and then cancel through the install that attempts to run 2 or 3 times all seems to be working fine but I sure would like to make to go away.
