Hardware error on cd writer using toast 3.5 (MAC)
Hi thanks for the prompt reply. I have a phillips d2 writer, it can only write at x2 (+ x1) speed - i have tried both. So do you think its down to the version i am running? can i get a demo to try out this theory? if so any ideas as to where this can be obtained?? - i will try the site...- bigmax

Hardware error on cd writer using toast 3.5 (MAC)
i am trying to back up files onto cd. using adaptec toast 3.5 for the MAC and are having an error at the end of writing to the disk. The error says - "the drive reported an error: Sense Key = Hardware error. Sense Code = 0x44. Internal controller error. " Then after clicking OK...- bigmax
