That's what I originally tried to put into the PIX, but for some reason it wouldn't accept the following statement, which is why I put it in as separate tcp and udp statements.
conduit permit ip host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx range 50 51 any

I've tried replacing my tcp/udp statements...
I'm having a similar problem, but I can't get VPN to the customer's VPN from outside our PIX. I was told all we'd have to do is open up UDP port 5000 and tcp/udp 50 & 51. Is there anything else I need to do?
Here's what I have on my PIX:
conduit permit udp host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx eq isakmp...
I have one sendmail server (server.com) that takes care of all of our e-mail. I've also got 5 other domains that we use this server for their e-mail. (site1.com, site2.com, site3.com, site4.com, site5.com). What I'm trying to do is get all 6 of these domains to be sent to and from. All of the...
thanks for the reply! but i think i need to be a bit more specific...
the user that has this account on our solaris server does not want any of the mail that is sent to it. he has had the account for a while and gets lots of spam at this particular address. he's been using a different e-mail...
We have a few of our users who would like to login to our Solaris 9 box, but no longer want their e-mail account. I know I could just forward it to /dev/null, but then people sending to that e-mail address still think the address exists because they don't get a bounce back.
Thanks!
i need to run a shell script that does the following:
ssh to a machine on our local network and run 3 shutdown scripts. (and then another script that does the same thing but runs the startup script instead)
i've already got ssh set up with public/private keys and no pass phrase...
i've been...
on a solaris 9 box, is there a way to have it send a user a warning e-mail when their quota reaches a certain percentage? also, is there a way to send an e-mail to an administrator when a user reaches a certain percentage?
i need to disable a user from receiving e-mail, yet allow the user to still log into the box (solaris 2.9). is there a way to do this that, when a someone sends mail to this user, they will get a reply that the account doesn't exist? otherwise a way to send it to /dev/null would work i guess...
i'm relatively new to this game, so here's an advance apology for my ignorance... :)
we just got retrospect 5.0 to do some of our backups. this came with clients for osx and windows, so those are easy enough. we also want to back up a couple of linux/solaris boxes (only certain directories)...
here's the QOS policy that's on there now... we've got around 12 serial connections (of equal bandwidth) and want to apply it to 5 of them (i think).
policy-map QOSout
class polycom
priority 450
class class-default
fair-queue
random-detect
i've got multiple h323 codecs that are connected through multiple serial interfaces (no more than 1 codec per interface). all of these codecs come through one gateway behind our main router. the way quality of service is implemented now, there is only one policy-map. this is then used on...
another good one is clearvue (http://www.westtek.com/clearvue.htm)
in addition to power point, it also views and prints (in conjunction with the free hp mobile printing software) word, excel, jpg, bmp, and png documents.
