I can ping to some machines but not all of them. it seems to be very selective. I was thinking the same thing, with the ip/routing config issue, but with it allowing me to ping some machines and not others, it is throwing me for a loop. I have noticed that I seem to be able to ping/remotely...

PCXpress: I cannot ping either the name or IP, I have 5 subnets, and it is very difficult to get a response from the four that my server is not a part of. On my servers subnet I am able to ping some times, but more times than not I cannot. All subnets are managed via AD with DHCP Scopes.

It was not, but I have disabled it via GPO now. I will test it in an hour or so, when I get a little more time to play with it.
