I should mention that in the same backup job, I received an error on one of SQL databases. When I excluded the DB and ran the job again, I no longer got the error and the job finished successfully.
Hi all, I'm getting the following error in my backup log:
E3291 Getting I/O completion port status error. (EC = The wait operation timed out.)
The backup continues past this error and finished with a status of Failed.
This is a brand new install.

By recently, I mean I had other issues with Brightstor so I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling it. I then applied SP 1 (for Brightstor) and device update 3. I don't believe these were installed prior. SP1 for Win2k3 is NOT installed nor will it be.
CA is going to send me a hotfix to address this issue. It is currently being tested by their QA dept. When I find out if it works, i'll email it to you.
You can try deleting all the files in the database dir that start with raaa. If that doesn't work, you'll have to start with a fresh database. To do this, uninstall Arcserve, rename the database directory and reinstall Arcserve to the same directory as before. Your jobs will be there but you...
