Thanks WANguy... I didn't think to check that as he had access before, but after checking it seems he doesn't have rights. I think a group policy must have been applied since his access stopped. I'll action and post result... Thanks again

    Unkown file attachment

Many thanks to all for your replies. I've tried the mailing myself suggestion. There was no difference in the replies to either e-mail, although I can confirm that the rogue file points to a temp folder but not the 'Olk' folder. Keep em coming... :)

Hi BanditBabe Managed to open the file (just by double clicking) and it is a link to a local temp folder! Any ideas why this is attaching itself whenever replying to mails with attachments?

    Unkown file attachment

Cheers for the reply... In the 'attachments' line (below to, from, cc, subject) there is a file icon. It has no name or extension, and has no specific icon (just the generic file icon that windows uses when it doesn't know what progrom to open it with). The attachments line only becomes visible...

Access Denied - File May Be In Use

Thanks Aftertaf I am on the admin account and I've tried taking ownership of the files. It still gives access denied. I've also tried propegating permissions to all child objects which gives access denied error too. I'm very puzzled as I've tried the obvious things.

Access Denied - File May Be In Use

Thanks for replying lander. The files are currently placed in an area of the server which is not shared, so nobody has access to it. I did have an issue with filename length, which wouldn't let me do anything to file, but this was resolved leaving only the copying issue.

Word2000 - Send to reciepient as attachment settings

Hello all One of my users is having a bit of trouble with Word2000 when he selects 'send to mail reciepient (as attachment)'. When Word attaches the document, it inserts it as an .rft instead of a .doc. Can anyone tell me where the settings are to change this (if any), as he would like to send...

    Outlook 2003 - Calendar sharing

Thanks for the reply UKG. I've managed to solve it. I did try the Microsoft solution (I always look there first) but it didn't work on it's own. I had to give the secretary mailbox rights as well as calendar rights. Thanks again
