Computer Not Recognizing External Hard Drive
I don't have any other problems with the PC (other than no more space on the original hard drive) and I don't have a USB wire - should I buy one? And no I don't have another machine to connect it to. Thanks for your help- beavis4730

Computer Not Recognizing External Hard Drive
Hi, I have the Maxtor One TOuch II 250 GB USB and Firewire. I've had it for a while, and it has worked great with a Firewire connection, however, last week the computer stopped recognizing it. It doesn't show up in "My Computer" or anywhere. I've tried restarting, unplugging and plugging back...- beavis4730
