look at bios chip on motherboard note down numbers on it . Search these numbers on the internet. bios chip usually has a piece of foil stuck to it to cover uv hole in chip. Try searching for "motherboard search" or "motherboard finder". Look for any other manufacturer names...

I made the mstake of adding a user and password in Win ME and when I deleted it Win Me still asks for a password . do I need to create a user called default without a password to have no login prompt of any kind ?
