thanks for the replies. i'm looking at getting an 800gs/ls-id card. hundreds of places on the net sell them refurbished with the 1 year warranty. how can the prices vary from $199 to $899? am i missing something. is there a difference in these?

I have a Magix R3 clamshelled in Legend, cke5,p/s 391a3,(2)008mlx,(1)400gs/ls/ttr,(1)800gs/ls,(1)012 and MLX-D phones. Can i get caller ID without the ID line modules (assuming i have the service)? I thought i saw my setup would allow it. I don't mind trying if you have an idea. Thanks

i don't you phones, but i have a legend that is similar. i believe there are two ways to turn it on. 1)voice mail, where you retrieve the msgs by dialing your vm. 2)phone msg or notice that you recieve from an internal caller. this one usually list the ext that called asking for a return call...

should i have voltage out of the admin port? or smdr port?

no luck. took out all modules leaving ps and processor. removed pin on jumper next to batteries. still boots with red led alarm. and i can't connect with winspm. i'm going to try dos. any suggestions from here?

thanks for reply. i did try removing the jumper next to the batteries for 10 seconds, but all the modules were mounted. i'll remove them and try that again. then i'll try with spm. will advise.
