Thankyou so much to all of you for helping me overcome my Networker woes. Sanjay and I tried what Mitchell and Stefan suggested, we used device /dev/rmt/2cbn, ran an inventory, ran backups, and below is the proof that I was able to restore a file from the tape.

When I try to recover the file xylo.html back to it's original location on the remote host ucsd that I was backing up from server uls, I get I/O errors, here's my recover activity-
